| As we asked a few of our Stroll artists about their experience in preparing art for the Sidewalk Arts Stroll, some of them had some warm sentiments to share with us. We’re devoting some of our blog posts to our precious artists; without them, we’d just all be strolling around the square aimlessly! Here is what artist Johanna Littleton had to say in regards to the Sidewalk Arts Stroll:”I spent the winter painting beautiful colors and thinking of the fun it is to show my creations at the Sidewalk Strolls. When Jason Simpson, Chief Meteorologist for Channel 19, came to my studio, #312, at Lowe Mill to pick up a painting for his wife’s Mothers Day present, I asked him to work on the weather for the strolls.”
Thanks, Johanna, for sharing such a wonderful thoughts with us. According to Jason @ WHNT, the lovely weather wishes will be granted! He is predicting sunny skies with a high of 87°F, a low of 59°F, a 10% chance of rain! We hope to see everyone out tomorrow night for our first Sidewalk Arts Stroll of the Season! Don’t forget:
